The Paperless Examination System Design And Implementation

This article analyzes the fundamental demands of the paperless examination system based on Java. It summarizes the tools software and interrelated core technology used in the development and design of software, meanwhile, the article primarily discusses the data encryption of project and the project file safety as well as automatic test paper generation algorithms. The project implementation is based on the communication mechanism of the web-based examination system as well as related software engineering skills such as database system development principle and so on. Having the current school exam assessment system as a background, it describes and designs in detail the function of the project requirements. In addition, the design proposal of system database is provided. Finally it imposes detailed design on the project including SDMADV, System Function Module Design and System Interface Design, giving portions of the core program code. Furthermore, the project is analyzed and standardized from the standpoints of project safety. Ultimately, it introduces the operation situation and environment of examination system and prospects the further studies of this project.The project adopts the most prevailing Java language in design, mostly putting the unique advantage in web communication into use. The database system applies Microsoft SQL Server to backend data support, achieving the information construction in campus network. The exam system takes account of the interrelationship of the examination management personnel, course teachers and students. Combining with traditional paper exam, it lays emphasize in curriculum question bank construction with better teaching-examination separation and to some extent it reflects the actual hand working ability of students. The system is comprised of three relative independent subsystems. The paperless examination management subsystem is used by examination service personnel and course teachers, completing modules including student information management, exam question bank management, exam information management and marking management. The paperless examination server subsystem is used by substitute teachers, completing the examination organization work including the import of exam profiles, examination process start, monitoring, termination and the test status record of student of various test centers and episode. Also it realizes the functions such as the automatic evaluating of objective topic grades and package of exam profiles. The paperless examination subsystem of students is used by students logging in computer room, completing the functions of paper receipt, students test control and collection of test answers.The paperless examination system project is the key construction project of DeZhou Technological Vocational College. Supported by City labor and social security bureau of YuCheng, it is achieved successful, marking the examination of our college is in the forefront of informatization technology construction.
