In order to realize the rapid measurement for large dimension work-piece in industrial field, a new measuring system based on stereo vision was proposed and implemented. The key algorithms used in the system, such as feature recognition, camera orientation, stereo matching, object coordinate 3D reconstruction and multi-view point cloud registration, were studied. In this article, a new points matching method are raised for matching the two pictures which are taken by double CCD camera quickly. After sorting the marked pip on these pictures, and coding these marked pip. it is convenience to match pictures and get the parameters of camera.
