| Radio and broadcast industry is undergoing a "Triple Play" form of great changes. Due to historical reasons, there are many problems in cable network industry of radio and broadcast field, such as system and mechanism, industrial restructuring, driving force of development, income structure, and competition from new media. At the same time,all the provinces in China are merging their provincial cable network institutions as a unit, which causes many changes in cable network companies. Therefore, the cable network companies which are through the process of transformation and change, will face more severe challenges. The time of process management in our enterprise application is not long, and also because of the developing market, decentralized organizations, there is no scale or institution structure of cable networking company like the China Telecom, the China Mobile or the China Unicom company, so the application research of local scholars and cable network business on process management is limited.Based on the development of this industry and academic research background, this paper, first of all, introduces the survival and development characteristics of China's cable network industry which undergoes "triple play" and "integration of the provincial institutions ";also introduces the theory of process management related to the current situation, and it describes in a cable network, there is a lack of industry standards to business process management. Secondly, the paper sorts the relevant theories and methods of process management model. Thirdly, it proposes the decision that the excel process is the core competency of the cable network company, which faces challenges, solves problems and achieves the future development, it also studies the actual case of some cable networking company in Chengdu, from aspects of marketing, technical maintenance, customer service and management of business, account and billing. And it makes analysis in the practice of business on the base of management theory and methods. Finally, the paper summarizes the experiences of the Chengdu case, and makes suggestions to the Sichuan Provincial cable networking company. The suggested strategies in process management applications includes the business philosophy, goals and tasks, working teams, standardized system, new product development, business learning, organizational change, IT technology support and strengthening cooperation. |
