A Study On Design And Implementation Of Campus WLAN With IEEE 802.11

With the rapid development of wireless network technology in recent years, wireless network is applied widly for its flexible diposition, terminal removability and expansibility. Utilizing the wireless network to optimize the compus net is one of its application.The paper first analyzes the development of wireless network technology and the theory which based on. It also puts forward the method to reduce the risk of possible attack aiming the wireless local area network. Besides, through comparing and analyzing performance parameters and technical characteristic of wireless network hardware, their available location and condition are presented. Finally, according to the demand of Hebei Software Institute, the paper proposed a campus WLAN solution that helps the implementation of wireless campus network project. The research established the foundation of further study and application of WLAN. And some more functions have been introduced, such as, the management of the unity of AP, which improves the security of the network, and set the foundation of further research on wireless network technology.
