With the application of wireless sensor network is more and more extensive, the relevant technology of wireless sensor network is getting more and more attention and research. Due to the special characteristics of wireless sensor network, the main problem for wireless sensor network to deal with is that how to complete sensory process, communication, control and calculation in real time with limited resources. The key to solve this problem is to study the scheduling strategy compatible with wireless sensor network operating system.In this thesis, scheduling strategy is researched and improved in TinyOS operating system. The direction and goals for improvement are determined through the research on the scheduling strategy of wireless sensor network. Then the scheduling mechanism of TinyOS-2.x is analyzed in detail, and the shortcomings of scheduling mechanism are pointed out. Non-Preemptive EDF (Earliest Deadline First) algorithm and Dynamic Priority algorithm are put forward to improve the real-time and throughput and the schedulability of the two algorithms is analyzed. Finally, the simulation by TOSSIM verified that the performance of the system is improved in the two algorithms.
