As the triple play has been proposed, the scale of telecommunication network, computer networks and cable television networks are expanding continuously. The rapid development provides users better and various services. For the live video events, video on demand and file download, the streaming media service has taken account of most of the traffic network, with the different application of the streaming media service, the character of the streaming service is different. On the other hand, with the demand difference, the users propose individual requirements to the quality of the networks. Therefore, the future network should be able to distinguish different services, give different level choices and provide personalized service network for customers. The personalized service breaks the traditional passive mode. The links in network should not be a intermediate stations which can simply forward. The links should can collect resources, make classification, adaptively adjust forward strategy according to the status of the networks and meet the needs of individual users.Prefetched streaming media service data and cache replacement data are important part in the streaming media play technologies and they can affect the play quality of the streaming media service which the end users can get. In addition, the task management for every process of the proxy server also can affect the distribution effects of the streaming media data. This thesis improves the related technologies of proxy server, cache replacement and the process management of the streaming media and proposes a segmentation prefetching scheme based on differentiated service of streaming media service, cache replacement scheme based on differentiated service of streaming media service and a distribution process management scheme based on pipeline technology.The current popular segment prefetching algorithms all simply use a single specific scheme, but do not consider the individual needs of users. The main idea of the current cache replacement scheme assigns a corresponding utility value to streaming media data according to some impact parameter and uses a new data replace an old one. The scheme does not solve the overload of the proxy server in some extent, but add more operations to the management data of the proxy server. The proxy service is the most important part in the networks forwarding. The traditional, serial processing of the tasks processes cannot able to reduce the load of the proxy server load and improve efficiency. The streaming media technologies in the networks need to resolve the problem of cache, publish, play and other problems. This thesis implement research on the active pre-fetching of proxy server, caching scheme and streaming media distribution scheme and design a streaming media proxy server content distribution system. Main tasks include the following:1. About the applications in broadcast, on-demand and downloading services as diverse as business, the Internet streaming media needs to synthetically consider and meet the users'requirements, offer the humanized services to users and select to design a appropriate strategy to give user-related services. For the proxy server, the streaming media service of the network that the users access, the streaming media service will be divided into different types, according to the existing sub-strategies and the comprehensive business features, adjust corresponding segments pre-fetching policy, propose a "classification type - sub-pre-fetch" strategy, which can effectively improve the streaming media pre-fetch efficiency of the proxy server and reduce user plays jitter.2. Research the current popular strategy of proxy cache. For the streaming media object in the proxy server, this paper uses "replacement strategy" to reduce the load of the proxy server cache, combines the corresponding parameters which will affect the playback quality of streaming media data and form the utility function, gives corresponding utility values for each streaming media data segment caching in the proxy server, offers different quality of service for different types of service and proposes a cache replacement scheme based on differentiated service of streaming Media. This strategy not only reduce server management load, but also meet the personalized service the big trend of the network paid service.3. Deal with the data operations in the proxy server data and combine with computer technology in the pipeline. For the cache proxy server, apply the similar pipeline management mechanism in the prefetching, cache replacement, data distribution, and other operation processes. By the process of pipeline operation and the definition of the related operation content, achieve rational resources usage rate and use the network bandwidth resources better. The streaming media object pre-fetching and the speed of cache replacement and distribution are all improved. The efficiency and throughput of the proxy server are also improved.Finally, use the simulation tool to realize the network simulation experiments for the "classification prefetch - cache replacement - water management" scheme. The results show that this scheme can dynamically adaptive to the network, adjust at real time, also can offer a good personalized services for the users, enhance the rate of the network bandwidth resources usage and improve the jitter of the streaming media files which play by the users and the management efficiency for the process tasks of the proxy server.
