| Because of high-brightness, high reliability, low power consumption and long life white LEDswill take place of the traditional light as a ideal light in the future. A new short-range wirelesscommunication system-Visible Light Communication is coming into our life with the rapiddevelopment of white LEDs. It uses the fast switching of LEDs to transmit the information. SoLEDs can play a dual role of lighting and communication. Some applications have been realisedand Visible Light Communication has a significant meaning and good future.This paper mainly gives some basic research on the main technology such as LED array'slayout, channel model and modulation characteristics. The text firstly discusses the stereoscopicarray and compares the performance between the plane array and the stereoscopic array.The maincontents are presented as follows:Firstly, through the theoretical analysis the simulation of the light intensity distributionbetween the plane array and the stereoscopic array which is designed in the text are shown incomparison;Secondly,with the help of impulse response of the single Bourse, simulation and analysis of theimpulse response between the plane array and the stereoscopic array are given. In order to reducethe simulation time, we have taken some reasonable approximation;Thirdly,with the analysis of power and noise we draw the distribution of SNR, BER and thechannel capacity;Finally,we do a simple simulation of the IM-DD and the OFDM systems under thestereoscopic array's channel. |
