With the high-speed development of control technology, computer technology, electronic technology, network technology, networked control systems(NCS) has received more and more attention, which has been a trend in the control field. Compared with traditional control system, the network control system has lots of advantage, such as resource sharing, less wire and volume, low implementation cost, easy maintenance, high flexibility and easy tele-operation and so on. But the network also brought sorts of problems, such as network time delay, data packet dropout, timing disorder and so on. So the network control system needs to be further studied.For the network control system development and the present research, there is a detailed reduction and study in this paper, and the analysis of the basic problem of the network is also wrote, such as network time delay, data packet dropout, timing disorder, drive mode of node, etc. In view of time delay problem in the network control system, the detailed analysis was wrote out in this paper. The whole closed system with fixed length and respectively of time-varying delay is described by a maths model, the stability of NCS are analyzed. Based on the fixed rate of the data packet dropout, the networked control system is modeled as an asynchronous dynamical system(ADS) with rate constraints on events. The sufficient condition to the exponential stability of the networked control system is derived from the conclusion of the ADS. The introduction of TrueTime toolbox in Matlab is presented in this paper. With this tool the simulation of the network with time delay and packet dropout analyzed the stability of the system.At last, the prospect of NCS and some issues that should be researched are pointed out.
