Design And Implementation Of Translation System To Alarm Information From Marconi SDH Transmission Network

Alarm information translation is one of the key technologies to implement integrated alarm management system. This thesis analyzed the requirements of Marconi SDH transmission alarm information translation system, designed the alarm acquisition scheme due to Ethernet network interface. According to the results of alarm information parse and optimization, both information module of simple network management protocol and management information base of the whole Marconi SDH transmission network are created. This system adopts simple network management trap as a standard protocol, fulfilling standard format of alarm information. Furthermore, alarm short message issue module enhances the practical performance. Test result shows that this project realized the design functions and achieved practical application performance.
