Abstract/Summary:
With the development of radar, microwave wireless communications, and other new electronic technologies, radar receivers are varying from the early narrowband receiver to multichannel and wideband receiver. Integration receivers which have the features of miniaturization, ultra-wideband and multiband are becoming an important direction of receivers in the future.Ultra-wide-band receiving module is the most important part of broadband receiver. At present receiving modules mainly contain multi-channel low noise amplifier, switches and filters with separated component on the market. Because there is only one low noise amplifier, the module will become much smaller than before. Low temperature coffered ceramics (LTCC) can imbed different passive elements, active elements in three dimensional space. It has many advantages such as high density, small size, low cost and excellent RF performance.Based on the miniaturization of UWB receiving modules, I studied a receiver module with eight channels. First I designed an ultra wideband low noise amplifier on the PCB, building the model of the LNA and determining the various device parameters through network analyzer. I realized high selectivity comb line filters using LTCC technology and make filters simulation and optimization as electromagnetic field using the 3D simulation soft. I designed a band-pass filter with three transmission zeros and used de-embedding technology as the test method of the filters. Finally through testing, I achieved the essential aim of the receiver. In a word, this paper has successfully finished the design of miniature and manufacture of 0.2GHz~4.2GHz multi-channel receiver module. The module is reduced much in volume compared with the traditional one.
