Material sorting control system based on ARM takes PC as total control unit , embedded system as the middle of the controller,and electronic label based on AT89S52 microcontroller as controlled machine. PC controls central controllers and embeded system controls all the electronic labels,define protels by myself in accordance with the RS485 bus standards among the three kinds of machines,in order to Implement a single master more from the master-slave distributed communications network. The embed system controls could control indicator light,buzzer voice,digital display and so on in order to make pickers finish simply,quickly,exactly order task.The system has the characteristics of flexible working time and just in-time conrtrol,which reduce the mistake of picking,speed up picking,improve the efficency of picking ,so reduce the cost of business.Generally speaking,picking in the logistics center is the eastest and the most complicated job. Material sorting control system based on ARM could control electronic labels to display order number exactly,picking numbers,current stocks and so on,and to order instructors about out of store and entering store timely ,accurately.At the same time return directly to the PC through the feedback button.for example in stock.The system in the limited time quickly and accurately statistics the content of each customer's orders, in order to shorten the cycle time to receive goods, improve efficiency and reduce operating costs associated with it.In the course of the research, the use of more advanced and practical development tools, platform and programming language to complete the various parts of the program development, and optimized code.My main jobs of the paper are as follows:Firstly,introduced the whole system and logistics picking some of the theoretical knowledge, the more popular by now several sorting methods, this system was proposed for a sorting method. RS485 interface by analyzing the working principle and characteristics, self-defined communication protocol, described in detail by master-slave distributed network and serial communication features, the use of master-slave half-duplex communication to achieve a distribution of PC and controller, the controller and the connection between the electronic labels. In addition, roughly proposed picking workflow.Secondly, More detailed description of the Bootloader and the U-BOOT start the process to achieve a U-boot on the platform of transplantation, by analyzing the situation LINUX2.6 kernel porting and implementation of the kernel cutting, and in accordance with the characteristics of S3C2410 design and development under linux based on the virtual machine on the design of serial communication-related.Again, design computer serial communication by using VC + +6.0 as a evelopment tool, SQL SERVER 2000 as background database and by the use of API functions for the host, and design and development several major functional blocks and related databases.
