Design patterns, which can be applied independently in software design, are successful software design ideas and experience. Design patterns, including their thinkings and methods, applied flexiblely in software design not only improve maintenance, reusability and other important characteristics of the software system, but also are one of the important research content of software architecture.Based on the maintenance and reusability of the software system, the paper takes Satellite imagery Simulation system for background. This dissertation achieves the target, increasing module cohesion and reducing the coupling between modules, by researching and applying rational design patterns. In this paper, firstly, design patterns, software reuse and object-oriented are introduced, including concepts, principles and ideas, etal. Secondly, by describing detail satellite imaging simulation system application requirements, the structural features of the system parameters, data processing and image displaying module are analyzed deeply, and the expansion requirement for the system is explain necessarily. Finally, based on the issues of the satellite imaging simulation system, the adequacy and necessity of the solution are dicussed, the results of design patterns applied are also discussed.By development and practice, the advantages of satellite imagery simulation system applying design patterns are verified, and the goals of high cohesion and low coupling are achieved, improving the reusability of the system and reducing system maintenance costs later.
