Research On Development And Application Of Production Management System

Tianjin Coal Terminal of Shenhua Tianjin Coal Terminal Company is an important channel for transporting coal from West to East in China. How to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and improve operational safety is the key problems to improve profitability and competitiveness the company. It is the base to slove these key problemss that improve the automation of manufacturing operations with the development of production management system.Coal terminal production management systems of the domestic and international are analyzed. Production management requirement of the company is analyzed also, furthermore, the main roles is analyzed by use case. The system function modules, interface and database are designed after the main business processes are analyzed in detaile. At last, the Shenhua Tianjin Coal Terminal Company's production management system is implemented. There are three main modules in the system: (1) Plan management modules: including the ship plan, train and other plans and some sub-functions;(2) scheduling management modules: including the control of unloading, loading control, ship current information, weather forecasts and schedules production operations and some sub-functions; (3) manufacturing business modules: including the operation department I, II, III and Production Business department. There are some sub-modules including dispatching business logs, production safety logs, special operations log and duty director log in the Production Business department module.The production efficiency of the company has been significantly improved, and the production costs have been effectively controlled. There is no accidents in the company. All of above is proved after the system is applied in the production.
