Laser scribing developed on the basis of laser marking. It irradiates on the work-pieces using high energy density laser, produces chemical reaction and makes permanent indicator. Laser scribed line machine must ensure accuracy of carving out of line and requirements for carving out of line very straight simultaneously.This paper mainly introduces the principle and implementation of the system, which focus on the design of drive circuit hardware and control software of the servo motor, as well as the implementation of upper and lower serial communication. Towards the characteristics of laser scribed line processing, the control system of "PC + VC +RS232+ Control Software + Servo Motor drive". Laser is generated by Nd: YAG laser, and modulated by the acousto-optic Q switch to transmit laser beam with wavelength of 1064nm. This laser beam is output to the reflector after expansion, and then focusing mirror by which the laser beam is focused to materials surface, realizing scribed line processing.The main research work is as follows:1.The design of laser scanning systemBased on the correct connection between high-speed scanning galvanometer and laser engraving ,using VC complete the development of laser engraving software. Completed the task of the whole system of distribution and resource scheduling.2.The design of laser output controlThe PC through parallel port connects with laser and Q switch to drive external control.In theVC develepment environments,hwinterface.Ocx is used to develop C parallel Port resources to control the laser output parameters.3.Development of High-precision platformThe DSP complete grating feet data collection and gets the feedback of the coordinates data.Through serial communication data feedback to PC, complete the precise positioning of the platform.4.Optimization of the system parameterLooking for a suitable parameter combination, marking best achieved.
