Research And Application Of A Test Model For Enterprise-level System

As software products plays a more and more important role in the social production and people's daily, the quality control of the software products, especially the enterprise-level software system, causes more and more attention. However, the complex structure and variety of features of enterprise-level software system is a great challenge for software testing. Therefore, how to establish a good test model in order to effectively guide the enterprise-level system software testing activities has always been an important topic in the software testing field.In response to this demand, a software test model for enterprise-level software system testing is created in this paper, according to software engineering and software testing principles, combined with enterprise-level software system's product features and development models, basing on the analysis of the testing model that already existed. The model retained the part that adapt for enterprise-level software system in V model and W model, and integrated the latest testing model ideas while keeping some compatibility with the traditional development mode. The new test model based on requirements and broken the stiff test level of traditional testing model. Through frequent integration, the new test model strengthened the cooperation between testers and developers and provided an efficient and extendable testing mechanism.This new model made a theoretical definition and practical description at all stages of the work processes and key steps. Subsequently, this model is applied to the automated testing practices of a NMS network management system in an communication company. Considering the characteristics and development model of the NMS system testing strategies was created. Under the guidance of the model and the reasonable use of test strategies, test plans was designed and test automation framework was established, the function test and performance test were implemented successfully. Finally, the correctness and rationality of the test model were verified by evaluating the effect of the implementation of the test model. The model can be taken as a reference for the other enterprise-level software testing.
