| As customer's demands are becoming flexible in the automotive industry, companies require applying CAE technology to enhance product development capabilities. The application of CAE technology in the automotive industry has caused the problems of distributed data storage and poor reusing in the data management, owing to complex structure and variety types of CAE data. The key technologies and implementation methods of CAE model management and CAE process management has been researched and related modules has been developed on the basis of the development of an automotive company's Integrated Platform of Digital Simulation. The studies are arranged as follow:First, the research and application status of CAE data management technology is analyzed; the functional framework and architecture of CAE Data Management System for Automotive development is proposed; the organization and management mechanism of CAE data is determined, according to the characteristics and requirement analysis of vehicle development.Secondly, CAE model management and CAE process management technology has been studied detailly. In CAE model management, Object-oriented reference model representation is proposed according to the features of CAE model, the structure management and version management of CAE model has been studied, and using warehouse technology to store the CAE model. In the aspect of CAE process management, a hieraarchical structure model is established, using the integration of project management and workflow management to control the process.Finally, the prototype system has been developed using .NET technology, and it is applicated in an automotive company. Some functional examples are introduced. The results show that the system can manage CAE data effectively and improve the company's product development capability. |
