Development And Implement Decision Support System In Foreign Trade Group Company

ERP has been widely accepted by companies. They use ERP during their businessprocesses and management parts. It has become the most important manage tools in theirdaily work. But with the ERP enterprise information accumulated continuously, how to usethe information of enterprises effectively has become the new task. According to thecontinuous expansion of business every day, amount of data has increased exponentially. It isundoubtedly to the enterprise information management to put forward higher requirements. Itis a key fact to choose development and implement decision support system as a subject ofthis thesis.This article mainly aims to develop a decision support system for the foreign trade groupcompany which has engaged in the garment trade for many years. The company has a numberof subsidiaries in different business industry. Due to the lack of effective methods, the processof managing group information spends a long time and causes obvious information delay.This article works out a set of solutions for the group decision support system by analyzing itsdecision requirements, so as to help the group management to alleviate the information delaybottleneck. The whole process can be divided into the following steps:First of all, from the group informatization construction framework, decision supportsystem can be positioned in the enterprise and we can clear the target of construction.Secondly, through analyzing the enterprise decision making demand, the process of thedecision support system construction has been undertaken research seriously. The specificresearch contents are mainly about a few points:1. Put forward design scheme according to the demand of decision, which includes thedimension design, front display mode, the star model design, data size design, differentdata sources of historical data content, etc.2. Grasp the overall system layout from the decision support system planning point of view.Through the whole technology architecture analysis, explain the basic train of thought ofthe realization of the decision support system.3. Research the data warehouse construction method, combining with the design scheme ofthe enterprise decision demand, which includes the basic framework for the design of datawarehouse, the data storage mode and the exploration of ETL (Extraction-Transformation-Loading) design and implementation.Moreover, this article also introduces two decision models which are referred to thebusiness characteristic of the enterprise. The first model is named sustainable growth model,which is mainly used to analyze the equilibrium of the rational allocation problem betweenenterprises resources. The second is based on the Du Pont analysis model. Combining withthis model, we can analyze some enterprise key indicators, such as return on investment,business strategy, sales, gross margin, etc.
