Pulse and temperature are the common physiological phenomenon, are also the explicit response of the heart and blood vessels and other important information. Measuring pulse not only supply referenced information for blood pressure, blood flow and other physiological testing but also could provide valuable information. Currently, most hospitals measure the body temperature and pulse by man power for timing, the nurses go to measure each patient's temperature and pulse at a settled time everyday, record and draw the curve for the reference when the doctor analysis illness. But the routine care needs a lot of time, and the doctor could not find the exceptional thing, when the especial instance happened, this may delay the treatment time, so the result may be bad. It could be 5 or 10 minutes for the nurses measure each patient, this could waste a lot of manpower and time, it is a large project to put the data together, and there may be some mistakes in the results. Therefore, the traditional way for measurement of temperature and pulse will be improved. The aim for us is to improve the rate and make sure the veracity.The paper introduces a design of the acquisition system which is based on GSM module for the data of body temperature and pulse. The system uses microcontroller MSP430F2274 and the unlimited RF module CC2500 as its core part, uses GSM module and wireless communication module for remote wireless communication, several persons'temperature and pulse could be tested and the system will realize the function that the data could display, transmit and process. The following is the main content:1. The hardware design of the collection system. The design of pulse sensor, temperature sensor and the MSP430 microcontroller, the communication transmission of microcontroller and CC2500 wireless module, GSM module send text messages to another GSM module by AT commands. 2. The software design of the collection system. Design the software according to temperature and pulse data acquisition system and the GSM module. Compiler by using C language, make data collection, data storage, data processing, data display and transmission and other functions come true, through the computer the center could watch the change of temperature and pulse, so take actions.The development of this system is available to solve the problem that the nurse can only measure a person's temperature or pulse, provide complete reference data for the data center, save a lot of time and manpower, at the same time this system's data is also real. Therefore, the studying and designing of this system process some theoretical and practical value.
