Comparative Study On Group Events Reporting Strategy Between Outlook Weekly And Nan Feng Chuang

As an important form of media, current event news journal plays a significant part of the pattern of the news media, from the perspective of the history of communication and today's media ecology. It has a profound impact on people's understanding and perception of social reality with other news media. the "Outlook Weekly" and "Nan Feng Chuang" are the representative. Under the grim situation that group events occur frequently, the reports and related comments which conduct on group events in the two current event news journals can provide important guidance to readers.In this paper, the methods of text analysis and case analysis are used, and collect the text of group events in "Outlook Weekly" and "Nan Feng Chuang" from July 2008 to August 2009. Through the horizontal and vertical comparison between the two journals, make description, statistics, comparative for the main part of the sample, make a certain amount of content analysis for the selected specific case, to examine the embodiment of a variety of strategies in these two journals'depth reports, Summarize the similarities and differences between the two on the reports of group events, and find out the reasons.
