Trade Enterprise Management System Design And Realization

Being challenged with new economy, small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) must be informationalized to increase the operational efficiency, decrease the running costs, and grasp the new business opportunities. However, SMEs has certain extent difficulties in informationalization due to the deficiency of capital, human talents, technologies and management. The issue is more typical to those SMEs involved in business trade (SMEBTs) because of their fast-changing business, deficient capital, and high employee turnover rate. Therefore, informationalization has become the issue those SMEs are most concerned about.This thesis draws an analysis with Unified Model Language (UML) on all the requirements of SMEBTs where the system will be deployed, and points out that object oriented technology and UML are the best solution to a successful implementation of such kind of information system.On the basis of requirements analysis on organization structure, business process and its related activities in those SMEBTs, this thesis walks you through the phases of overall system design, database design, and detailed system design and eventually implements an information system.The overall system includes 8 modules and they include basic information, human resource management, customer relationship management (CRM), procurement management, inventory management, financial management, knowledge base management, reporting analysis. The system is structured with C/S and developed with Delphi7 and SQL Server 2000.Oriented towards a specific scenario, this managerial system presents a series of important theories and practices that will help SMEBTs improve the management, increase the competitiveness and promote the informationalization. All the technologies and methodologies applied in this essay such as UML used to analyze the enterprisers'requirements as well as build up an analysis model, the process of system design and development, the database technology, programming languages and software security technology are the valuable references to those SMEBTs.
