The Design And Development Of A Embedded Browser Running On WinCE

With the rapid development of information and internet technology, embedded system supporting network applications has been already widely used in the information appliance and communication fields. Embedded browser has already been the basic software of embedded system. Because of its large and multiplex market, it is significant for us to study the embedded web browsing technology and to develop our own embedded browser core constantly.The purpose of this thesis through the browser on the research, design WinCE in a run of high-performance embedded browser. Research by the analysis of selected core WebKit browser as a reference model for the browser design and development. The most important design task is to design a prototype system KWQ platform adaptation layer, which directly determines the browser in the WinCE environment operation. This was followed by JavaScriptCore script interpreter in the design stage, also designed the platform-independent support for regular expressions and support for the Unicode encoding solutions.Finally, this project has been completed and the browser prototype development, the design phase of strict compliance with the WebKit norms, and designed a platform-independent solution. Makes the core browser prototype with high-performance, portable and easy to expand the features, for future development in other platform embedded browser provides the foundation. At the same time, running in good condition, there are pending further testing and development of new functional modules.
