Wireless Network Coordinator Based On Zigbee Technology Research

Since 1900's wireless network technology has gradually come into our work and daily life.The ZigBee technology which takes as one of the emerging wireless network technology,having low-rate, low-cost as well as low-power characteristics,to malke up the existing wireless network technologies in some practical applications such as GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.This article firstly introduces the ZigBee technology related, and introducing the ZigBee wireless network composition and the ZigBee protocol specifications with emphasis. Based on this, carries on the design and the manufacture of the ZigBee wireless network coordinator(i.e. coordinator), including hardware and software parts.The hardware circuit of the coordinator takes the CC2430 chip which of the Chipcon Corporation as a core, includes CC2430 support circuit,RS232 serial port communication circuit, power regulator circuit, human-computer interaction interface circuit and JTAG interface circuit.The software design including the coordinator control software and the PC monitoring software in two parts.The coordinator control software uses the Z-Stack 1.4.3-1.2.1 protocol stack which of TI Corporation, completes the compilation and debugging of the application procedure.The PC monitoring software uses the VC++language, combines with the Microsoft's MSCOMM control, and completes the compilation and debugging of the monitoring procedure.Finally, carries on the experimental test of the ZigBee wireless network coordinator. The experimental results shows that,the coordinator can build a new network, allow nodes to join and to receive the data from node,while the PC monitoring software can display the data and the network topology transmitted by the coordinator in a real-time.This design of the ZigBee wireless network coordinator of this paper, has good versatility and expansibility. On the one hand,users can increase the appropriate sensors on basis of the hardware, extended to the smart home, medical monitoring,mine monitoring and environmental monitoring applications. On the other hand, the beginner of the ZigBee technology can take this foundation platform as for reference.So,It has very important reference value and practical significance to promotes the ZigBee technology applications.
