| With the continuous development of computer science, the usage of computer technology is increasing in almost all kinds of business. The Reservoir simulation which is based on computer technology is also increasingly used in the development of oil fields. However, due to the abstract output of Reservoir simulation, the poor readability, the high rate of human-misreading, it makes the post-processing of the Reservoir simulation which can make the simulation result visual display receive a widespread attention. At present, there are some researches of the post-processing system both abroad and in internal. The researches in internal are relatively simple, and most of the post-processing system are made by the field units of their own designs. They often designed it only for certain reservoir simulation software, so the universality is rather poor, and the styles of the output displays are simple, and the efficiency is low. The researches abroad cost too much, and the configuration environment requirements more stringent, and versatility is also not high. So they are applied rarely in internal.As traditional graphics development needs more programming on bottom layer, it is much more troubling for visualization development, difficult to program, hard for calculation. As a result of that, this paper has presented a study on Visualization that based on ActiveX Automation. Because that existing graphics software has been strictly tested and has been after a rigorous QC process, we can make a secondary development through the ActiveX Automation Interface on a existing graphics software, such as Golden Software Surfer which specializes in plane data grid plots, to improve mapping efficiency, and to make a drawing quality assurance. With that, our Visualization System can combine different reservoir property such as Pressure, Permeability and Saturation, and different time steps and different vertical layers, to have them displayed in 2DVIEWs or 3DVIEWs, such as Scatter Maps, Contour Maps,3D Surface or 3D Contour, in static state or in animated state. At the same time, this paper will also present a solution to the poor universality of the Visualization System of the Reservoir Simulation reports, making visualization system applied to the different report files from different Reservoir Simulation system. And finally, this paper will introduce the practical application of the Visualization System this paper has provided in the project with real data. |
