With the rapid development of the network and multimedia technique, more and more medium including images, audios and videos are transformed into digital form and widely distributed over the Internet. So the protection of intellectual property rights has been the key problem nowadays. Digital watermarking has been proposed to identify the ownership and distribution path of the digital material. In this context, digital watermarking seems to be an interesting issue to protect multimedia documents. In fact, it consists of embedding an invisible mark such as copyright or authentication information inside digital documents. To be efficient, this mark should be imperceptible and should resist to malicious attacks which try to destroy it or to remove it.This paper on the basis of summarize the basic framework and theoretical knowledge of digital video watermark technology, analyze the existing video watermark typical algorithms and combined with security requirement of P2P live streaming media system for transmission, present a robust streaming video watermark algorithm. The main works of this paper are as follows:Firstly, present a P2P streaming media system structure based on the watermarking technique. On the basis of analyze the P2P streaming video watermark technology and combined with application characteristics of video watermark in the AnySee network architecture, according to the characteristics of P2P live streaming media system and the technology principle of MPEG-4 streaming media decoding, present a P2P live streaming media system network framework based on the watermarking technology, which include real-time watermarking embedding and extracting.Secondly, present a watermarking algorithm based on the MPEG video stream. Apply video mosaics technology to video watermarking algorithm, select an interesting area where the watermark should be embedded and insert the same watermarking into the same pixels which represent the same physical point. In the scene background, exactly information can be provided by a mosaic image for the located points. According to the selection of embedding areas, present a semi-blind watermarking scheme through its embedding and detection phases and briefly explain how to fix the threshold estimation for the detection process.Finally, this paper makes a simulation experiment for the proposed algorithm. Simulation results show that the embedded watermark is imperceptibility, and robust to the ordinary video attack robustness. The proposed algorithm is compared to previous works to give greater confidence.
