Design And Realization Of The Online Dissertation Assessment System Based On .NET

With the increase of computer network technology and the degree of informatization, automation and network degree of school teaching and management have also made great progress, which in turn requires a balance development of all aspects. Dissertation assessment is an important component of teaching, especially higher education, so how to develop it to adapt to the progress of the network era has become increasingly important.In this paper, online dissertation assessment system was designed and developed based on .NET, with the consideration of drawbacks of traditional assessment model:long assessment cycle, poor transparency and low efficiency. The system retains the "Blind Review" approach of traditional thesis in the assessment process and trys to achieve a networked teaching method at the same time. According to the analysis on feasibility and requirement, B/S (Browser/Server) architecture, Visual Studio 2008 of .NET Framework3.5 version as the software development platform, ASP.NET as the server development tool, C# as the development language, SQL Server2005 as the powerful back-end database, ADO.NET database access technology as database management operations were used at the end.Design and implementation process of online dissertation assessment system based on .NET platform is fully expatiated, including its overall function, structure design, database design, implementing methods of each functional module, evaluation system design, system testing of later stage and so forth. System is designed separately as student-system, expert-system and administrator-system according to users'roles, which contains the interface design, function and implementation details of basic information management, dissertation submission, online paper review, inquiry for the results of paper reviews, the system maintenance for administrator, statistics, message-board management, notice and information release dissemination and other basic modules. During the thesis evaluation three experts will participate, the result should integrates the results given respectively by the three experts. D-S evidence theory will be used in this process, the final score of the thesis will be judged by the D-S evidence synthesis method, taking the scores given by the three experts who have different degrees of familiarity with the thesis as evidence. The paper design will use the consistency test to judge the reliability of the results, after the students know the evaluation results, they can apply for the second evaluation, but only if the thesis meets the reliability test can the student apply for the second evaluation.Designed and implemented online dissertation assessment system based on .NET platform in this paper make the dissertation assessment process online come true.It does not only shorten the assessment cycle, improve the transparency dissertation assessment but also increase the participation of students. At the same time, the method based on D-S evidence theory and the consistency test used in the paper make the evaluation process more and more scientific and rational, the second evaluation more and more standardized and orderly.
