Intelligent monitoring technology is an important part in video surveillance. This paper subjects to the application of vehicle safety recorder. By analyzing the existing research results, it constructs the hardware platform base on BF561 to realize real-time video capture, real-time video display and MJPEG video compression. And it raises some new issues in the research process.This paper designs and constructs the hardware platform of intelligent monitoring system base on BF561. It realizes high-speed acquisition of PAL video signal through ADV7180 video capture circuit, real-time video display through LTP700WV 7 inch 24-bit TFT-LCD and MJPEG video compression based on the platform. Combined with BF561 dual-channel high-speed parallel peripheral interfaces, it raises the solution of dual-channel MJPEG video compression and proves the feasibility by the implementation. For the shortcomings of the system, it raises some new problems and opinion. This study is carried out in the following areas:1.It designs and constructs the hardware platform of intelligent monitoring system base on BF561.And it completes main circuit of BF561 monitoring system, ADV7180 video capture circuit and TFT-LCD display circuit through Protel DXP software. It constructs the software and hardware development environment through VisualDSP++ software to debug the hardware modules.2.1t configures ADV7180 to convert PAL analog video signal to 625/50 ITU-R BT.656 standard digital video signal. It configures the PPI, DMA and interrupt of BF561 to receive video data of ITU-R BT.656 in high speed.3.It configures the PPI of BF561 to control the 7 inch 24-bit TFT-LCD LTP700WV and realizes the display of 800×480 pixels image and ITU-R BT.656 standard digital video.4.1t realizes the 720x576 pixels MJPEG video compression of ITU-R BT.656 standard digital video data. Combined with BF561 dual-channel high-speed parallel peripheral interface, it realizes the dual-channel 720x576 pixels MJPEG video compression.
