With the gradual progress of Suzhou subway engineering, the construction of urban rail transportation operation management system has been put on agenda. In domestic, the majority of subway informationazation constructions still only focus on the specific function of each individual subsystem. From the perspective of the whole system, there is not yet a testing system, which effectively integrates these scattered subsystems in the field of subway research either internationally or nationally. The system reliability test is relatively behind, which has become the obstruction of further development of system credibility. Meanwhile, it also seriously hinders the construction of urban rail system.When testing highly credible software such as urban rail transportation operation management system, if the number of case tested could be effectively reduced under the condition of guaranteeing the reliability of the system, not only the system creditability would be assured but also the cost of test would be reduced. Therefore, this research is practically very significant. This paper mainly focused on the research of the test and evaluation of the major attributing factors of the credibility, that is the reliability, which suggested a series of scientific testing method of the reliability of highly credible software. The main researches are as follows:Firstly, this paper analyzed and investigated the development status of current software testing and evaluation methods from three separate aspects, which were system testing case generation, system reliability testing methods and system reliability evaluation methods, with the purpose of finding out the disadvantages of them.Secondly, this paper then investigated the relationship of software credibility and software reliability, followed by the discussion of the way of system testing case generation during the process of software reliability testing. In this thesis, the two most frequently used testing case generation methods were studied, and based on which, the basic principles of these two methods were then summarized and compared.Thirdly, based on the Bayesian prior information evaluation method, this paper suggested a reliability of the information without examination and evaluation method, on the basis, this paper makes improvement and propose a method of reliability evaluation which bases on the Bayesian prior information.According to research data, this method kept the reliability at the same level, and effectively decreased the number of testing cases needed, so that the cost of testing was reduced.Finally, after the research on the structure of urban rail transportation operation management system, this paper suggested a framework of reliability testing and evaluation methods. According to this, a systemic software testing and evaluation method based on the maximum entropy principle was suggested. Take multi-module system as an example, this paper detailed explained the reliability of rail transportation system by using the framework of reliability testing and evaluation methods.
