As rapid development of hardware and software for computer, computer graphics have been used widely in movies, games, advertising, military and so many aspects. Simulation about natural scenery has become one of the most challenging research directions in computer graphics. In this direction, the simulation of waves is the most complex.Compared with landscape and plants, waves are more dynamic, irregular and random, these features also increase the difficulty of simulation. Based on the analysis of ocean wave modeling technology and considering of real-time and realistic simulation of waves, this paper decide to use Fournier wave model to help to realistic and real-time Wave simulation system. Main content as followed:First, based on the analysis and summary about previous related research, decides to choose the method based on geometric model of surface waves draw.Secondly, analysis of formation of waves, which is affected by many environmental factors, we use some of the factors to control the waveform, through studies of a variety of methods of simulation, this paper decide to use Fournier wave mode .Thirdly, Fournier can not simulate comber, at the same time, the simulation researches are relative immaturity about breaking waves near the coast. Therefore, this paper decides to use Fournier wave model to help to realistic an real-time Wave simulation system.Finally, based on object-oriented design principles, demonstrates system implementation of the virtual wave basing on this algorithm.
