Fire units from the perspective of the current urgent need of a instant messaging software, designed to meet the fire between the troops through the existing instant messaging networks to enable communication between each other more convenient, faster, and at the same time will further improve office efficiency. Similarly, the software units in the fire, or at local companies, so long as there is network places are available for instant communication, it will have broad application prospects.This thesis discusses the Windows environment of local area network communication program design principles, ideas and processes. Briefly introduce the software development environment, programming and application of foundation, focusing on the introduction of the software analysis, design and testing process. In this thesis, the design goal is a simple network utility software, instant messaging, the use of visual development tools for the development of VisualC ++ 6.0. Part of network communication using one of popular TCP / IP protocol. The typical C/S mode is adapted in the system architecture. Based on the Windows Sockets API, the use of CSocket network communication module design, the interface part of the framework uses Windows MFC. In this thesis, a final design of the network simple and practical real-time communication software, including TCP / UDP two communication models, features include message send and receive, file transfer and voice chat.
