| With the development of science and technology, the increasingly rapid trade has quickened the working pace of the company. Nowadays, firms face various kinds of customers who own different skill competence, different specialties, which bring great burden to the salesperson. Large quantities of customers are gone due to lack of high-efficient business model. This will cause great loss to firms. For the sake of rapid response to market needs this thesis focus on discussing the weak points of traditional quotation model from both theoretical view and practical perspectives. Based on the activity cost forecasting theory of ABCM (Activity-Based Costing Management) , the decision-making supporting system software was successfully developed. Using the software will improve the comprehensive competence of the firm as well as the efficiency of cost management and control. It will simplify the quotation process, improve the working efficiency, reduce the quotation organizations and reduce cost at the same time.Software regarding products quotation is rare in the market. Most firms still use traditional quotation methods such as Excel or manpower. The traditional quotation methods are not good to analyze data and control sales profits. First of all, this paper discusses the background and goals of this project. Based on the background and goals, the characteristics and feasibility of this quotation supporting system will be discussed. The system structure and the verification of products cost as well as quotation procedures are also covered in this thesis. According to the specific characteristics of firms, the quotation supporting system is proposed based on the real needs of firms. The design of this quotation supporting system is done through the detailed analysis of business procedure and data analysis. The detailed design of different functional module as well as how to properly realize the functions are also contained in this thesis. The operational framework as well the operating procedures of some interfaces is introduced in the last part of the thesis. And in this thesis the preliminary plan about system integration is also provided. This system is based on the B/S designing model. And it also puts SQL Server 2005 database management system, C++ program language as well as Visual Studio C++ SP6.0 into use.After introducing this information system, the rapid and accurate verification to the products cost becomes reality. In this case, it will improve the quotation competence of firms and enable firms to adapt to the increasing changing markets. Besides, it will also help firms'leaders make wise decisions and make much greater profits. |
