| Sailing ships feature identification system is the hot spot of inland waterway management. With the rapid development of shipping of inland river, waterway management are faced with many difficulties, such as the number of vessels, traffic density and dangerous goods loading quantity increases ceaselessly, ship collision, and so on. While the GPS navigation, radar scanning, AIS (automatic identification system) technologies are affected by the weather and other factors seriously, and it is difficult to accurately obtain the sailing ships' geometric dimension and empty overloading state.Sailing ships feature identification system which based on two-dimensional laser sensor can effectively solve the technical defects. System structure include:identification of ship and ship speed, the auxiliary system. Contour recognition include the width, height and traffic of the ship; through the integration of speed identification and contour recognition data, the length of the ship, the uplink and downlink direction and empty overloaded state can be obtained; auxiliary system comprises a power supply, equipment fixed installation.The ship speed detection system is one of the key design, completed the design of laser velocimetry which based on MSP430 MCU. This paper introduces the measuring principle of the speed of ships sailing and the components of software and hardware. The servo system for laser velocimeter comprises a main control circuit, drive circuit of stepper motor and encoder position detection module. The software design includes an encoder angle acquisition, stepper motor driver and serial data transmission.Design of PC software is another important part of the system. Including two dimensional point cloud data packet reception and analysis, speed packet received serial, the mixed programming of VC++ and Matlab to achieve the characteristic value drawing. Due to the large amount of data collection, to improve operational efficiency, the use of multi-threading technology, time-sharing operation. In calling the Matlab engine prior to drawing, because the collected data are in polar coordinate, so orthogonal transformation on the data.After a number of on-site commissioning, analysis the system accuracy and detection rate summarized the influence factors of precision. After validation, the system can reach the expected effect within the allowable error. This equipment has been put into the project of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in Wuxi "perceptual channel". |
