Analysis And Optimization Of CDMA Wireless Network Handoff Technology

China Telecom acquired China Unicom's CDMA network in 2008.China Telecom's CDMA network expanding, users on the network performance and network required to improve the quality. So more and more network engineers take more attention on CDMA network optimization.The thesis focuses on analysis of the CDMA network handoff problems and reasons of failure, indicating that the soft-handoff is the key technology of CDMA system, soft-handoff and related parameters directly affect the capacity and service quality of system. The thesis describes several handoff (soft handoff, idle handoff, hard handoff, access handoff) algorithms and the principle of comparison of various implementations, highlighting the scope of the program. In addition, the thesis take China Telecom Hainan Branch 's CDMA network as an example in how to improve the handoff success rate. Analysis of DT data on the CDMA network shows that increasing the success rate of the CDMA network handoff is a key solution for improving the network quality.
