In order to meet the broadband needs of the future communication systems, in the driven of this demand, 3GPP(the Third Generation Partnership Project) has began to research the next generation mobile communication system-LTE(Long Term Evolution) on the basis of the third generation communication system, and China has launched the next generation mobile communication system-TD-LTE. LTE is a wireless communication system which provides lower transmission delaying, higher data rate, wider bandwidth and better QOS(quality of service).In this paper, it mainly studies the power control algorithm of TD-LTE. First, it has a detailed description of the basic knowledge and the uplink key technologies of LTE. Second, the uplink power control algorithm of LTE FDD(Frequency Division Duplex) is introduced. Furthermore, it describes a classic closed power control algorithm which is based on the target SINR(signal interface noise ratio), and it gives a fresh algorithm in this paper based on the classic algorithm. And it verifies the correctness of the fresh algorithm in the TD-LTE system. In addition, the uplink power control is also an effect inter-cell suppression technoledge in LTE system, at last it gives a fresh inter-cell suppression technoledge of TD-LTE system which is the integration of SFR(Soft Frequency Reuse) and the uplink power control.
