Design And Implementation Of Multicast Source Mobility Based On Proxy Mobile IPv6

With the rapid development of Mobile Internet, People want to enjoy the Internet applications while they are moving. Now the Mobile Multicast including mobile source and mobile receiver has become to drawn more attention, because it can provide many new applications efficiently. In particular, for some new Internet applications, such as video session, Intelligent Transportation Systems, the efficacious mobile source scheme is required. A scheme of multicast source for Mobile Internet is promoted and realized in this paper, based on full and deep research MULTIMOB WG of IETF.Firstly, this paper introduces the background, advantage and the present condition of the IPv6multicast and mobility management protocol. Then it focuses on analysis of multicast source mobility support, but there is no final conclusion for it, and the recent schemes have many disadvantages.Second, based on deeply research of Mobile Internet protocol and multicast route protocol, this paper presents the whole design idea and the details of the design and implement of multicast for mobile multicast source, not only the procedure of but also the data structure and function procedure of each module are given.Finlly, this paper implements the mobile multicast source on the Linux2.6.29.5platform.In the WLAN-based test-bed, function are tested in detail, including the protocol process, signaling message format, the encapsulated data formats.The results show that the protocol function has been implemented.
