Electromechanical Vocational English Network-assisted Teaching Platform Design And Realization

Electrical English is one important compulsory course for mechanical and electrical major and related majors. To improve the teaching level of Electrical English and increase the students'learning interest, a web-based teaching platform for mechanical and electrical English is designed based on the advanced .NET technology in our school.This system follows the theory and method of modern software engineering.It also introduces the ASP.NET technology during the development. The new C# programming language designed by.NET platform according to Microsoft company.This system is developed and implemented in Windows 2003 Server+ Visual Studio.NET 2005+SQL Server 2005 platforms.In this paper, we explain the reason and the development background of the web-based teaching platform for the Mechanical Electrical English is explained. It gives the detail analysis of the computer assistance teaching platform based on .NET technology. It also give the detail instruction of the design and implementation of the database and the whole system.The design of background database adopts the relational model. The function of the system is improved. The database operation is accomplished by storage process. The response time of the system is improved. the security of the system has increased. The main function of the system consists of user administration, teaching resource administration, homework administration, online testing and learning forum etc.The system is run on the school server, the traditional teaching for Mechanical Electrical English is improved by network assistance teaching system. The system provides more teaching resources for Mechanical Electrical English class. The autonomous ways of the students are expanded. The teachers and the students have more chance to communicate.
