In order to ensure quality and safety of chemical production process, it is necessary to monitor the cleaning process of chemical polymerizers equipments real-time. A multi-channel real-time online monitoring system of polymerizers is developed in research of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai "capacity building about wireless sensing and control services of chemical equipments"(11DZ2290500). The hardware of system takes high precision acceleration sensor and high resolution data acquisition card to acquire the vibration signal, which produces on the wash water striking the wall of polymerizers. Then the data is transmitted to the central control room by the wireless bridge. The software of system use virtual instrument platform based on the LabVIEW to finish real-time signal analysis and processing. The system can display state conditions on-line, alert workers to handing problem when the clearing failure happened and provides data palyback. In order to reduce redundant data and improve the quality of the playback data, the system has developed intelligent trigger and identification module of polymerizers cleaning signal.The system has been tested in field application experiments. The result shows that the system has already monitor the clearing condition of clearing head real-time effectively. This work solves the problem of the polymerizers' clearing condition monitoring and also provides a feasible solution to the clearing condition monitoring of other lager chemical equipments.
