| With the development of global 3G mobile communication network, the major domestic operators of restructuring and the business have been changed. A fully opened, competitive telecom market has come in China. Operators have got their 3G licences in 2009, and they launched the construction of 3G networks. All of them have started the evolution to IP network of their own core network transmission network. As the traditional wireless biggest operators, China Mobile also involved in constructing the cable. It launched group custom access, community broadband business based on data networks and a series of business. For China Mobile, original voice business on circuit-switched transmission network can not satisfy the requirements under the new situation. It is necessary to change the transmission network to IP network and increase the capacity. However, how to select the next-generation transport protocol standards is the most improtant problem. In this paper, we will propose a evolution scheme for the transmission network to make full use of the existing metro SDH network and data networks, to take the smooth transition of network evoluting, to protect maximum initial inetwork investment, and ensure users business continuity.This paper will focus on the metro transmission network convergence layer and access layer in Jiangsu Mobile. First we introduce the transmission network and the evolution of IP planning, then we compare several different transmission network techniques with each other. It is shown that Packet Transport Network (PTN) could be selected as the next generation of transmission technology, which not only has the advantages of sdh-based MSTP network in many business, such as high reliability, manageable and clock advantages of Ethernet, but also has low cost and multiplexing characteristics in IP business of bearing.In addition, we analyzes metro transmission network status and the development trend of convergence layer in Jiangsu mobile. For example, PON in the introduction of ALLIP evolution model. Combining with the TD transmission network evolution, we detail the scheme of the constructing network. Finally, we propose a corresponding network model from the aspect of the business development of transmission network of convergence layer, the access layer, different business requirements, and the full use of several technology.The background of the paper is all the mobile networks in Jiangsu Mobile turning to IP network. We mainly pay attention to the techqiues for the evolution of transmission network. All discussed cases are included in Jiangsu Mobile local transmission 2009-2010 network planning and construction. The network models have been implemented and already come into commerce in 2101 in Jiangsu Mobile Wuxi branch. |
