Abstract/Summary:
Wireless Video Sensor Networks (WVSNs) has a wide range of application and thus become a research hotspot. In this thesis, special attention is given to security of WVSNs. By researching security problems of the video sensor node, a secure and reliable image sensor node of the hardware and software design is proposed to achieve the trust of the platform and confidentiality of data in this thesis. The main research works in this thesis are as follows:1. A design of secure and trusted video sensor node is proposed based on sensor node consisting of ARM7 microprocessor and image sensor OV6620. The design features a secure and trusted module which adopts PIC32 as microprocessor.2. A new packet format suitable for node integrity measurement is defined in combination with packet format of EAP-TNC. This thesis also presents a Secure Access Authentication Protocol combining secure and trusted module on trusted chips. Security level of the proposed protocol is further analyzed.3. An implementation scheme bootstrap and transmission of trusted chain is defined in this thesis. Meanwhile, encryption algorithm of 128 bit Advanced Encryption Standard is adopted to assure confidentiality. This thesis implements functional configuration of camera, video capture, serial port transmission and image display on host computer. The practical feasibility and security of the scheme are verified by real tests.
