| With the advantage of mobility, wide band and support of high-speed traffic, broadband wireless networks are widely used. How to use the limited frequency resources and provide higher satisfaction for users are the major problems for broadband wireless networks. Resource management is related to many parts of the network and resource allocation is one of the key technologies of resource management. A flexible allocation algorithm is the basic foundation of providing Quality of Service assurance. This thesis studies the key technologies of resource management and put most efforts on resource allocation and access control. Based on the research of classic scheduling algorithms, this thesis designs a resource allocation algorithm for real-time traffics. Combined with the scheduling algorithm, the system can guarantee the effective transportation of multiple services while the Quality of Service need of the real-time traffic is met. The system model is built with Adaptive Modulation Coding and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing technologies. Studies and analysis based on this model show that the designed algorithm is effective. |
