Multicast provides a high efficiency communication mechanism, in which a sender can also send data to many receivers at the same time, through merge and repeat data on a router to transmission so as to save bandwidth and reduce the burden of server. Multicast can be widely used in multimedia distance education, distributed system, network video conferences, etc.For the existing security and authentication issues of application layer multicast, In the multicast technology research, the key management for the control of data transmission is relatively maturity, but it is lack of an effective group user management solutions. This paper presents a group user management proposal for large-scale application-layer multicast, which is based on LDAP uniform identity authentication system, using distributed directory service design, directory partition, directories recommendation, and directory replication for the efficient and unified management of directory information which distributed in different physical location ,and combining the authentication technology with the trusted computing module so as to propose a user authentication model which based on node-reliability. At the same time, use digital signature technology to ensure reliable data transmission, from many aspects to ensure security communication of application layer multicast. The simulation results show that the model can ensure that only the legal registered users can receive multicast communication data and make a distinction between good nodes and bad nodes so as to control bad nodes efficiency, which achieve the purpose of access control very well. To a certain extent, it does solve the security problems.
