| As China Telecom enters an age of full-service business, IP Metropolitan Area Network (IP MAN), as the main component of broadband service, not only serves as a public information exchange platform to undertake basic Internet business, but also devotes to QoS business and key business of China Telecom itself. The performance directly influences the experience and using effect to real-time application services by end users. Therefore, it becomes an urgent problem for China Telecom that how to ensure a stable, unimpeded and efficient operation of the IP MAN, as well as meet the requirement of the development of data and value-added services. As a result, Fuzhou Telecom needs to perform an significant adjustment to MAN IGP routing of Fuzhou Telecom refer to routing structure of backbone network of China Telecom.The present thesis is focused on division between Fuzhou Telecom user routing and the network routing, reselection of router protocol and high availability of whole network distribution. Router protocols have an analysis and a comparison, as well as an adequate test on the basis of the network structure and devices of current Fuzhou Telecom MAN. Optimization and modification scheme of Fuzhou Telecom MAN routing protocol were designed and has proceed to implementation. The modification scheme relates to 126 whole network devices. The implementation of the current scheme follows the principles of advancing in proper sequence, pushing after pilot study and smooth transition. The modification was composed of three stages: BGP modification of MAN routing, IGP routing modification, distribution of high availability and safeguard strategy of bearing network. Each stage comprises following steps:monitoring network running status according to pre-configurations, pilot cutover and evaluating influence to the business and modification in groups in the whole network.The research results of the thesis were adopted and have been performing well. |
