This paper is mainly researches and studies of TCP/IP protocol-based multi-zone digitalmicrowave video surveillance system server and the network terminal. It is also called themonitoring system network platform. It can make the video remote real-time transmission, storage,recording and control of the remote terminal and maintenance based on the internet. It has developeda design of digital microwave monitoring system of the video server and corresponding networkcontrol terminal. The video server is mainly used for supporting the front end video surveillance andnetwork terminal of video transmission and control command response, and, network terminal isused to view and control remote monitoring video information. It can meet the needs of remotemonitoring of the flexibility and adaptability.This paper describes the microwave communications, computer network access, network accessthrough wireless microwave transmission channel is sent to the central server approach.The paper used the Microsoft Directshow component technology to design the network controlterminal and a variety of control functions, such as remote viewing of video information, andsending real-time video transfer instruction, and the function of the video play. The video-encodingand video-decoding used a remote monitoring mainstream compression standard in recently—H.264code. And for the monitoring of remote transmission of data by RTP/RTCP real-timetransport protocol, thereby ensuring remote monitoring information of high quality and highefficiency of the real-time transmission.The network terminal defines the dual queue data buffer structure of the RTP video data packetsto receive and decode the image, and then network transmission quality feedback using RTCPReal-time Transmission Control Protocol. Terminal to send commands to the server through theclient operating system, remote monitoring system is controlled by the server.Monitoring system, video server is a key part of the system to provide user information andvideo data storage, and is responsible for client and control side of the connection and response. Forthe development of the server, use the thread pool critical section mutually exclusive design toachieve the synchronization of multiple threads in order to improve the system performance.Finally, the paper makes a summary and test on the system. On the basis of the current systemdesign, I have some ideas and suggestions to the program design. For example, it can add thecontrast of Multiple period picture, intelligent playing and monitoring function and a more optimizedcoding.
