Research And Building Of Knowledge Base In Virtual Community Basead On Ontology

With the rise of computer networks, knowledge management is becoming increasingly important which manages knowledge as assets and thus enhances its value. As the theories and practices of education informationization deepen, the application of knowledge management in education is drawing more and more people's attention. Unlike corporate knowledge management, its use in education focuses more on the cognitive process of individual learners, with an ultimate goal of developing their intelligence and capability.And from the perspective of knowledge sharing, ontology is a collection of concepts in universal sense, a language enabling knowledge sharing between various knowledge systems. A knowledge base is a set formed by knowledge of a specific field through reasonable organization which comprises not only huge amount of simple facts but also rules, declarative knowledge and process knowledge.Virtual community knowledge base built using ontology technology can speed up the flowing of knowledge and information in virtual communities, therefore achieving the sharing and reuse of knowledge.This thesis discusses in detail the research's background of this topic and theories and technology related, gives introductions to the concept of knowledge, knowledge base and knowledge base system, virtual community, the technological requirements of building a knowledge base as well as ontology language OWL.Based on the analysis to the features of virtual community and of the structure of knowledge base and knowledge base system, then a research scheme introducing ontology into virtual community knowledge base is proposed. According to the scheme proposed and integrating the building method of knowledge ontology with its knowledge model, this thesis formulates the layer classification system of virtual community knowledge base based on ontology, building on the theories above, it studies the method of realizing knowledge base and the matching mechanism between knowledge ontology and knowledge base, and puts forward the structure of virtual community knowledge base. By modeling the knowledge ontology of virtual community, thus modelizing and semanticizing concepts and relations within the virtual community, the a virtual community knowledge ontology in OWL is attained on which relevant retrieval can be conducted.Finally, this thesis summarizes the problems that have emerged in the research and construction of virtual community knowledge base, and puts forward the key points of the future research work.
