| TV broadcasting CMTS system is a data transfer system over bi-direction HFC network which includes IP network, CMTS, HFC network and cable modem users. The system running by DOCSIS standard is combined with deferent downstream and upstream frequencies for data transfer. We have built up a running system based on efficiency, reliability, flexibility, and safety. This article introduces the whole system and its special characteristics. Network emerging is on the way in our country TV broadcasting SP is facing how to provide accessment for broadband users and VoIP service. DOCSIS is the only international standard for data transfer over HFC network. The article introduces many details of DOCSIS3.0,such as the combination, the characteristics and the theories. An experimental system is also built to provide the testing steps and results in order to prove the DOCSIS3.0in the other way which is believed to be very important in the very near future when the CMTS system is running online. |
