The Safety and reliability of the large-scale bridges have become a world-wide concern. To ensure the safety, reliability, durability, ride comfort of the bridge during its lifetime, a long-term remote health monitoring system has become an indispensable important link in bridge construction. High demands on software of data acquisition and processing system are put forward by the Bridge Health Monitoring System characterized with kinds of and numerous sensors, high requirements of the real-time of signal transmission and storage.According to the characteristics of the bridge health monitoring system and other related disciplines, such as computer network technology, sensor network technology, communication technology, Bridge health monitoring data acquisition and processing system based on fiber grating sensor network is proposed in this dissertation.Generally, a bridge structure health monitoring system can be divided into several subsystems such as sensor system, data acquisition and processing system, data management system, remote communication system, security assessment system and displaying systems. Among them, the data acquisition and processing subsystem is the foundation of the monitoring system. The data acquisition and processing subsystem is mainly used to collect optical signals transmitted by the fiber grating sensors. These optical signals are demodulated by the fiber grating demodulator, then sent to the industrial personal computer via computer network port.A data acquisition module is designed in this dissertation using multi-theading technology, the based of the Lab Windows/CVI software development platform. This module includes some functions such as data collection, processing, real-time display and storage.Under the complexity field conditions of the bridge health monitoring system, a variety of factors would result in the emergence of burring or point mutation or data loss during the data acquisition process. In order to ensure accurate analysis of the assessment, the acquired signals must be processed。 In this dissertation, the problems encountered in Engineering data acquisition system are summarized and analyzed. Some of the current solutions to the problem are classified and summarized, and a signal processing method based on the bridge health monitoring is proposed.The importance of early warning systems based on the design bridge safety warning system. Based on the Brower/Server model, the individual subsystems are combined with each other. A real-time intelligent health monitoring system is built. It is also web-based.
