| With the development of computers and mobile portable devices, various changes have taken place in people's daily behavior. Thus, the industries influenced by those behaviors must adjust their original business modes to the changing environment-either adapting to customers' new habits, or guiding customers to new habits via the application of new technology and equipment. Nowadays, people's habit is transforming from paper-based readings to various e-readings. Following this new trend, publishers are also transforming towards digitalization. The increase of publishing frequency and innovation of publishing technology has led to a rich diversity in cultural products. Education is always tied closely with the publishing industry. The importance of education can trigger publishers' creativity in the field of publishing, but it can also prevent them from making updated innovation due to such extreme importance. This dissertation will discuss the possibility of applying mobile digital reading mode to biological textbooks in China's junior high schools under a community framework. In other words, basing on the biological textbooks in junior high schools, teachers and students will establish a social network in e-textbooks via iPads, laptops and computers. In this way, teachers and students can teach, study and communicate more conveniently and more environmental friendly. I hope this idea, together with some simple practices, can be a reference for digital education in the future. |
