More than thirty years since reform and opening up, Chinese economy has maintained rapid growth, comprehensive national strength has greatly increased. In "bringing in" and "going out" strategy of combining an open economy under the guidance of positive development of foreign direct investment on the economic sustainable development is more important strategic significance. China as a developing country, foreign direct investment location choice should focus on similar or slightly lower level of economic development of developing countries, Kazakhstan is a large country in Central Asia can not be ignored. Kazakhstan and China are developing countries, continued to maintain rapid economic growth and huge market potential, rich natural resources, with a strong locational advantage. Strengthening economic and trade cooperation with Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan to improve Central Asia and even China's security relationship with the considerable influence, has important political significance. Meanwhile, direct investment in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, China in shaping the national image and increase China's influence in Central Asia, China and Central Asian countries to promote trade and economic cooperation. From resource endowments and industrial structure, China and Kazakhstan are highly complementary, and bilateral trade and investment is very big. China's economic development level, capital, technology and management experience in areas such advantages as compared with Kazakhstan, has carried out direct investment in Kazakhstan and the feasibility of actual conditions. Direct investment in China started late in Kazakhstan is still in its infancy, but growing rapidly. Kazakhstan's central bank, according to data released in recent years, direct investment in China has grown rapidly in Kazakhstan in 2009, invested 710 million U.S. dollars, 2.27 times in 1997. The first quarter of 2007 to 2010, the end of 3 years and 3 months, the Chinese direct investment 2.038 billion U.S. dollars, almost equivalent to (1993-2006) the sum of the previous 14 years. Investment is not limited to traditional energy, resource industries, has been extended to non-energy sectors. At the same time, China and Kazakhstan continue to strengthen economic and trade cooperation. In general, foreign direct investment will have on international trade promotion or substitution. In this paper, a sample of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan study of the effects of direct investment on trade, on the basis of how the coordination of foreign investment and foreign trade policy of Kazakhstan, in order to make better use of direct investment in Kazakhstan to promote bilateral trade development . This paper follows the theoretical analysis, status description, empirical analysis and strategy research the idea of direct investment in Kazakhstan in China's trade effects of the following: First, direct investment of the international trade effects of three different economic roots. Moreover, different motives and types of investment will affect the trade effects of investment. Meanwhile, the trade effect of FDI has been categorized specific performance; and then to Kazakhstan on China's direct investment and trade to analyze the situation. In recent years, China's direct investment in Kazakhstan and the Kazakh trade has been a significant development. On the basis of qualitative research in China on the trade effects of direct investment in Kazakhstan; empirical analysis of China's direct investment in Kazakhstan's foreign trade made a positive effect of research, empirical results show that our direct investment in Kazakhstan since the promotion of trade effect; Finally, according to theoretical analysis and empirical test results, there is some reference made policy recommendations to promote direct investment in Kazakhstan in China and trade development.
