Research Based On The Correlations Between Industry Clusters And Regional Economic Development

In the current situation of global economic integration, the status of industry clusters is becoming increasingly important in regional economic development. Industry cluster development not only can enhance the competitiveness of local industry, but also play an increasingly important role in regional economic development.As we know, there is a strong correlation between the industry cluster development and regional economic development. If we can take appropriate measures to encourage and support the development of industrial clusters, it is useful for stimulating the vitality of the region's economic development and promoting regional industry cluster development.This paper is on the basis of theory of regional economics and industrial economics. After elaborating the theory of the relevance between industrial clusters and regional economic development, author builds the evaluation index system firstly, then use the principal component analysis to measure the level accurately which can reflect the degree of the development of a regional industry cluster.On this basic, through establishing the model for analyzing the relevance between industrial clusters and regional economic development to select these impact factors which have effectiveness between industrial clusters and regional economic development and do quantitative analysis through the method of regression. Finally, takes the high-tech zone of Chengdu for example, and on the basis of result to make some suggestions and advices for Chengdu's economic development strategy and industrial cluster development strategy.
