In recent years,with the rapid development of the urban construction in Tianjin and the elevation of the city status, the tourism and hotel industry has been developing rapidly which is unprecedented. Many international and domestic well-known hotel brands have vied in Tianjin, an amount of starred hotels are being constructed or have been constructed, the traditional hotels are being transformed actively. During the period of the innovation of the hotel industry,it is necessary to implement the overall improvement and transformation in the traditional hotels for their adaptation to the new trend of development and grasp of the initiative and the right to speak in the fierce marketing competition. Achieving this process must be based on the re-examination and deep study of the new location.This research is a muti-dimensions research which refers to the aspects of adjustment of the market positioning, the change of the target market , the optimization of the market mix strategies, the reconstruction of the business process, the promotion of the corporation culture and so on by the study of the hotel industry operation theoretical studies results and the analysis of the implementation of the Geneva hotel expansion and promotion project. The aim of this research is to give a guidance of the promotion of the hotel industry by exploring the modes of the operation about how to promote the development of the traditional hotels.
