Tianjin port is the biggest port in north China; there is very deep relationship with port's scale and the inland transportation. Inland transportation plays a very important role in such relationship, good inland transportation condition accelerate the port's development. Which period does Tianjin port's development stay now? Which competitiveness does it has? What the exact relations between port and inland transportation? What is the current situation of inland transportation? This article applied many models in solving above questions:1. There is similarity between port development and population ecology model, this article applied genetic algorithm to imitate port development, and the result shows that port's scale has beyond the turning point of Logistic curves. The develop speed will slow down in 10 years. This article applied BP natural network to compare the advantages and disadvantages of Tianjin port and other listed port companies in China. The result shows that Tianjin port did well and its disadvantages are in management efficiency and the lag of inland transportation construction.2. This article analyzes the condition of mutualism between inland transportation and port by applying symbiotic model. The result shows that there is ratio between inland transportation and port, and if they cannot reach this ratio, it will be difficult to realize mutualism.3. Network DEA is used to analyze the management efficiency of Tianjin port, this article divides management system into four small parts, and result shows that Tianjin port has competitiveness in cost control and did not do well in earning, risk control systems and so on.4. Abstract the relations of inland road into Scale-free complex network and analyze its indexes like degree, coefficient, and robustness and so on. The result shows that Tianjin port inland road net has strong robustness when faced random attack but has weak robustness when faced hostile attack. After analysis, I find that there are several problems both in Tianjin port itself and its inland transportation system, this article gives some explanation and advice for them.
